maize. Weather is favourable for harvesting in parts of

Karnataka and Maharashtra.

Weather is favourable for wheat crop that is in grain
formation stages in parts of North and Northwest India.
Frequent Western Disturbances have restricted the rise
in day temperatures resulting in healthy growth and
grain formation. Sharp rise in temperatures may suffer
wheat quality in Maharashtra and Gujarat. |

Turmeric
Arrivals may pick up in parts of Andhra and Karnataka.
Dry and sunny weather in Maharashtra, Andhra and
Karnataka is favourable for harvesting. Record
production likely this season due to good monsoon in
Andhra and Karnataka resulting in higher acreage. |

Black Pepper
Weather remains mixed for black pepper as deficit winter
rains may hamper the planting of new vines and harvest
for next season. Harvesting is at full swing in parts of
Karnataka while it is in final stages in Kerala. Global
output may remain affected due to erratic weather in
Vietnam and heavy rain in Brazil. |
